This site is a tribute to Vera Box. She is much loved and will always be remembered. 

Vera passed away on Friday, November 10th, 2023, at the remarkable age of 95. She was in the presence of her two daughters and comforted by being in the home she had lived in for over 60 years. Whilst her family grieves her loss, they find solace in the knowledge that she is now at peace and reunited with her late husband, Don, and other departed family members.

In honour of Vera's memory, her family kindly requests that those who wish to do so consider donating to the Reading Family Aid charity. This local organisation held a special place in Vera's heart, and she dedicated many years of her life to volunteering there.
